The client was the director of the ASU Garden Commons, which was newly established. The director wanted to increase its revenue, bring in more volunteers to help maintain the garden and overall generate more exposure to the public.
For the UX Research phrase, I partnered with a group of students and conducted the qualitative research. We defined the particular user groups of the garden, performed usability tests, and conducted interviews. Using the information gathered, we created two personas and a concept and usage story to understand the motivations and pain points of the users.
For the UX Design phrase, I conducted analysis on the best interface to introduce. Individually, we designed our own interface. I chose to create an event scheduling user interface for potential event planners, and an event calendar interface for potential audience that want to sign up for the events.
